Community Trapper ProgramOur community trappers are specially trained volunteers who help individuals and businesses trap cats for TNR. Using Craig Street Cats' equipment and supplies, they coordinate with property owners to schedule trapping of cats for spay or neuter.
Property owners must schedule a spay or neuter appointment either through the Winnipeg Humane Society TNR program or with a private veterinarian. Once the appointment is scheduled, a community trapper will coordinate with the property owner to arrange trapping. Once trapped, cats are transferred to the property owner's carrier or cage for transport to the pre-arranged veterinary appointment. There is no set fee for this service, but we do ask for a donation to help cover our costs and wear & tear on our equipment. |
