Where do we meet?
Walkers will meet at the Viscount Gort Hotel, 1670 Portage Ave. Our registration table will be set up in the east parking lot.
I'm walking with my kids. What if they can't do the whole route?
You don't have to do the whole route. You can turn back at any time, and we will have an optional shorter route for anyone who prefers a short stroll to a long walk.
Can I bring my dog?
Please do! Well behaved pets, on leashes, are welcome on the walk and in the hotel afterward. Please be considerate and pick up after your pet. Bags will be provided for this purpose.
When are the entry deadlines?
The early bird deadline is May 1st. Online registration closes on June 4th. You may register at the walk starting at 9 am walk day.
What are the prize categories?
We have lots of prizes this year. Raise $25 in pledges, and earn a walk t-shirt. Enter before May 7th, and you will have a chance at our early bird prize. Raise the highest $$$ amount in pledges, and win the grand prize. Register, then show up on walk day and get a chance at one of our participation prizes. Form a team of up to 5 walkers and raise pledges for a chance at the team prize!
We will also be selling t-shirts at the walk, for $25 each.
Do I have to register online?
No. You can download a registration package and collect pledges on your own, but it is so much easier to register online and let people make their pledges with a credit card.
